1. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner herein filed an application under Section 12 (2) of the Chhattisgarh Rent Control Act, 2011 for eviction of respondent/tenant on 28/07/2015, as such, it has been pending for the last four years and there is no substantial progress in the trial. Copy of the order sheets have been filed which goes to show that except adjournment, nothing has been done substantially.
2. Be that as it may, the Rent Controlling Authority, Durg is directed to expedite the hearing of the said application filed by the petitioner herein and conclude it within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No cost(s).
4. A copy of this order be sent to the concerned Rent Controlling Authority by e-mail/fax for complying with the aforesaid order. Sd/- (Sanjay K. Agrawal) Judge Harneet
