It is submitted that the present petition has been brought for the reason of inaction of the respondents authorities.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the mother of the petitioner has expired on 29-09-2006. The petitioner could not obtain death certificate at the time of death of her mother. However, for the reason that death certificate is required for the purpose of mutation of the landed property belonging to the mother of the petitioner, therefore, he filed an application on 03-02-2019 before respondent No.3 for grant of death certificate. Inquiry was directed to be made by respondent No.3 and respondent No.4 was directed for registering the death of the mother of the petitioner, by order dated 05-072019. Respondent No.4 is not taking any action, because of which the petitioner has been unable to obtain death certificate of his mother till date.

-2Hence, it is prayed that appropriate direction be issued. 3.

The State counsel opposes the submission and submits that the petition may be disposed off with direction.

After considering on the submission and perusing the documents present in the record of the petition, the petition is disposed off and respondent No.3 and 4 are directed to conclude the proceeding on the application filed by the petitioner for grant of death certificate of his mother as early as possible preferably within 30 days from today.

The petition stands disposed off.
