1. The relief sought for by the petitioner in the present writ petition is for appropriate direction to the respondents to ensure that releasing of the enhanced/revised pension to the petitioner on having crossed the age of 90 years in terms of the circular of the State Government, Finance Department dated 31.08.2009.

2. According to the petitioner he has crossed the age of 90 years on 02.10.2019 and thereby in terms of the aforementioned circular of the State Government dated 31.08.2009 he was entitled for additional 40% of the revised family pension. Counsel for the petitioner further drew the attention of the correspondences made by the Treasury Officer dated 13.08.2020 Annexure P-3 wherein the concerned Bank where the petitioner has a Bank Account was ordered for revising the pension accordingly but till date pension has not been revised.

3. Given the limited grievance that petitioner has the writ petition stands disposed of directing the respondent no.4 to 6 to ensure revising of the pension of the petitioner in terms of the circular dated 31.08.2009 and keeping in view the order passed by the Treasury Officer dated 13.08.2020 Annexure P-3.

4. Let an appropriate decision be taken by the respondents within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. It shall be the responsibility of the petitioner to apprise the respondents so far as order passed by this Court is concerned.

6. With the aforesaid observations, the present Writ Petition stands disposed of.
