1. The challenge in the present writ petition is to the order of transfer dated 23.08.2019 Annexure P-1 whereby the petitioner has been transferred from the post of Sub Divisional Officer, Mahanadi Reservoir Project, Sub Division No.8, Gurur to the post of Assistant Engineer in the Office of Executive Engineer, Water Resources
Division, Balod.
2. The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner has got only 10 months service left as he is retiring from service w.e.f. 30.06.2020. According to the petitioner, as per the transfer policy, a person who has got less than one year service should not have been transferred.
3. Given the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner make a detailed representation to the respondents within a period of 10 days from today and the respondents in turn shall consider the same within a further period of 45 days from the date of receipt of the representation.
4. Till the representation of the petitioner is decided, the effect and operation of the impugned order so far as the petitioner is concerned shall remain stayed.
