The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as she is arrested in connection with Crime No.221/2016 registered in Police Station Gandai (Kotwali) Civil and Revenue District Rajnandgaon (C.G.) for offence punishable under section 20 (b) of the N.D.P.S. Act, 1984. 2.

As per the prosecution case, on an information received on 6/09/2016 that the applicant is having cannabis, the house was raided and from the possession of the applicant 1.300 gms of cannabis were recovered. Thereby, offence is committed.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that that applicant has been falsely implicated in the case, cannabis were not recovered in person from the applicant and charge sheet has been filed, no further investigation would be necessary, therefore the applicant may be released on bail.

Learned State counsel opposes the prayer for grant of bail. 5.

Perused the case diary and the documents. Specially taking into

fact quantity of cannabis so seized is 1.300 gms, charge sheet has been filed and applicant being a lady is in jail since 6/09/2016, this court is inclined to release the applicant on bail.

Accordingly, the bail application is allowed and it is directed that the applicant shall be released on her furnishing personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety in the like sum to the satisfaction of concerned trial court for her regular appearance before it as and when directed.
