Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's father died in harness on 09/09/2017 while working as Assistant Grade - II in the establishment of respondent No.2. It is submitted that the petitioner has made representation for compassionate appointment on 10/10/2017 and after more than four years, the representation has not been decided.

At this stage, Shri Shashank Thakur, Advocate appears for respondents 2 to 4 submits that the representation of the petitioner shall be considered and decided within a reasonable time.

In view of above, respondents 2 to 4 are directed to decide petitioner's case for grant of compassionate appointment within 60 days from today in accordance with law by reasoned and speaking order.
