After arguing for some time, the counsel for the petitioner prays for issuance of direction to the respondents to take a decision on the enquiry

which is pending pertaining to the enhancement of the age of retirement of the employees/officers working under the respondents. 2.

The said prayer is not opposed by the State counsel. 3.

Accordingly, let the respondents No. 4 & 5 in consultation with the respondent No.2 take appropriate decision so far as the claim for enhancement of age of retirement of the employees working under the respondents No. 4 & 5 are concerned.

Needless to mention that, this Court has not expressed any opinion so far as the entitlement part is concerned. The authorities concerned are free to conduct an enquiry independently without being influenced by any of the observations made by this Court.
