The limited grievance that, the petitioner has raised in the present is that, though the petitioner has retired about 9 months back w.e.f, 31.01.2019. He has till date not received a single penny as pensionary benefit.

The counsel for the petitioner also referred to Annexure P-1, which is a correspondence made by the Respondent No. 4 to the Respondent No. 3 for an early redressal of the grievance of the petitioner.

The said Annexure P-1 issued by the Respondent No. 4 is dated 14.06.2019, yet there is no further development on the part of the Respondent No. 3.

Given the facts and circumstances of the case, let Respondent No. 3 and 4 take appropriate steps in ensuring that, the dues payable to the petitioner on his retirement in accordance with the Rules governing the service of the petitioner is decided and the admissible dues be released to the petitioner, at the earliest preferably within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of copy of this Order. 5.

In case, if the admissible dues are not paid to the petitioner within this 120 days period, then the entire retiral dues payable to the petitioner shall be paid with interest @ 10 per cent p.a., which the respondents would be entitled for being recovered from the concerned officer who has failed in his duty to promptly entertaining and releasing the same.
