Counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the writ petition with liberty to file an application/representation to the higher authority in the Department against the order of compulsory retirement. Prayer is allowed.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty. However, on such application being filed by the petitioner, the authority concerned would take a decision within the time stipulated under the rules.
