The grievance of the petitioners is to the inaction on the part of respondent authorities in not taking a decision on their representation made on 12.08.2021 (Annexure P/1)) till date.

It is submitted by the petitioners that they were initially appointed as Teachers / Lecturers in the year 2008 and 2009 and since then they are discharging their duties as such. It is contended further that the petitioners have completed more than 7 years of service and despite that the respondent authorities are not following the policy of the State Government issued on 10.06.2015 and not granting time bound pay scale on completion of said period of 7 years service till date. Learned counsel for the petitioners prays for disposal of this petition by directing the concerned respondent authorities to redress their grievance as early as possible. 3.

At this stage, learned counsel appearing for the State submits that if the petitioners file a fresh representation, the same shall be decided and considered by the concerned respondent authorities in accordance with law. 4.

In view of above, this Court feels that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending as it can be disposed of at this stage itself. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of by directing the petitioners to file a fresh representation before respondents No. 1, 2 & 3 within a period of 2 weeks from today and the concerned respondent authorities shall decide the same within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of said representation.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the concerned respondent authorities may decide the same on its own merits in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid direction, the present writ petition accordingly stands disposed of.
