1. The present Contempt Petition has been filed alleging noncompliance of the Order dated 12.04.2019 passed in WPS No. 2790 of 2019.

2. The respondents have entered appearance and have filed their reply and in their reply, they have categorically stated that in compliance of the order passed by this Hon'ble Court, the case of the petitioner/applicant for confirmation was placed before a committee and the committee in its meeting held on 13.11.2019 have placed its recommendation in a sealed cover envelope, on account of the fact that a departmental enquiry against the petitioner was pending. The

-2authorities have further passed an order that, the sealed cover regarding confirmation, shall be opened immediately on the outcome of the departmental enquiry pending against the petitioner/applicant.

3. Given the said reply by the respondents supported with the documents dated 14.11.2019, this Court is of the opinion that the order passed by this Hon'ble Court stands duly complied-with.

4. However, in case in the event if the petitioner/applicant is aggrieved of the action or decision on the part of the respondents, he would be at liberty to challenge the same afresh, if he so chooses.
