This is an application filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of bail to the applicant, who has been arrested in connection with Crime No. 232/2021 registered at Police Station City Kotwali, Raipur, District Raipur, Chhattisgarh for the offence punishable under Sections 467, 468, 420/34 of the Indian Penal Code. 2.

The present applicant is in jail since 29.09.2021 in connection with the aforesaid Crime number.

The case against the applicant as per the prosecution is that the present applicant was operating a racket, by which the birth certificate and death certificate were being issued by way of using forge UPI ID and was operating the portal, which was otherwise to be operated by the Municipal Corporation alone. The applicant in the instant case along with the other accused person is said to have hacked the portal of the Municipal Corporation and have been using

the forge UPI ID for issuance of the birth certificate in favour of one Aradhya Negi.

Considering the nature of offence, in which the applicant is involved along with the other accused persons and also considering the period of custody undergone, this Court is of the opinion that not a fit case for grant of bail at this juncture. The bail accordingly stands rejected.
