Challenge in this petition is to the show cause notice dated 03.08.2018 (Annexure P/1).

Perusal of impugned order would show that the authorities concerned had made a detailed report in respect of which an explanation has been sought for from the petitioner.

This court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India at this show cause stage would not have the power to conduct a roving enquiry to decide the veracity of the issuance of the show cause notice. 4.

Let the petitioner file a detailed reply to the show cause notice and in turn the respondents are expected to consider the reply and thereafter decide whether disciplinary proceeding is further required or not. 5.
