The present MCC has been filed seeking extension of time for complete compliance of the order dated 04.05.2018 passed by this court in WPS No.5157 of 2017.

The requirement of extension of time was for the reason that this court had granted only 90 days time to the State to comply with the said order. The State counsel submits that they have now paid an amount of Rs.9.6 Lakhs to the applicant and the balance amount shall be paid within a further period of 30 days.

In view of the aforesaid factual matrix of the case, this court is of the opinion that a strong case is made out for extension of time. Accordingly, the period of 90 days as envisaged in the order dated 04.05.2018 in WPS No.5157 of 2017 stands further extended for a further period of 30 starting from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
