1. It appears that in compliance of direction issued by this Court, department of the petitioner through the office of Dy. Director, Sericulture has forwarded the pension case of the petitioner to the office of the Joint Director, Treasury Accounts and Pension, Bilaspur vide Annexure R/1 (filed along with the reply). Further proceedings are required to be drawn by the office of the Joint Director, Treasury, Accounts and Pension, Bilaspur.

2. This should now be done expeditiously because it is a matter of pension of a low-paid employee. No fruitful purpose would be served in continuing with the contempt petition against the present respondent.

3. The contempt petition is accordingly closed. Rule is discharged.

4. A copy of this order be produced before the Joint Director, Treasury, Accounts

-2and Pension, Bilaspur for completion of all the formalities within a maximum period of 3 months from the date of production of copy of this order.

5. In case the pension is not released to the petitioner, the petitioner would be at liberty to revive the petition.
