When the matter is taken up for hearing, Shri Sunil Otwani, Addl. A.G. submits that the order of suspension passed under Rule 9 of the C.G. Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1966 is appealable under the said rule.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, at this stage, submits that the petitioner may be allowed to file appeal within a period of 10 days from today.

In view of above, this petition is disposed off with liberty to the petitioner to file appeal. The appellate authority shall decide the appeal within a period of 30 days from the date of presentation of appeal in view of the fact that the petitioner is going to retire on 26/12/2021.
