The grievance of the petitioner is non releasing of death-cum-retiral dues payable to the petitioner on death of her Husband who died on 06.07.2018 after retirement.

It is a case where the Husband of the petitioner after his retirement moved relevant papers for releasing retiral dues, however, till the same is processed and decided, the employee died on 06.07.2018. According to the petitioner, the name of the petitioner also finds place in the service records as nominee. The petitioner further submits that till date the claim

of the petitioner has not been rejected or refused on the part of the respondents holding that the petitioner is not entitled for the same. 3.

Given the aforesaid facts, let the respondent No.2 take a decision so far as the payment of death-cum-retiral dues including pensionary benefits, if any, to the petitioner is concerned at the earliest in accordance with law preferably within an outer limit of 90 days.

Needless to mention that this court has not expressed any opinion so far as entitlement of the petitioner is concerned. The authorities concerned would decide the same in accordance with provisions of law.
