Sam Koshy Order On Board 29/11/2018 The limited grievance which the petitioner has raised in the present writ petition is that on the death of his father he had moved an application for grant of compassionate appointment which till date has not been decided.

Facts of the case are that the father of the petitioner namely Shivshankar Sahis while working as Assistant Clerk Grade-III under the respondents died on 12.12.2000. At the time of death of his father, the petitioner was minor and immediately after attaining the age of majority, he moved an application for grant of compassionate appointment which till

date has not been decided and is pending consideration before the authorities.

Given the limited grievance which the petitioner has raised, let the respondents 2 & 3 take a decision in the case of the petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment in accordance with the rules at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case so far as the entitlement of the petitioner is concerned. The Respondents shall be at liberty to take a decision independently.
