The prayers in the writ petition are in the following terms: "(i) That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire record concerning the case of the petitioner from the respondent authorities for its kind perusal. (ii) That this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent no. 2 & 3 to provide list of eligible candidate to respondent no.4 and also to directed

respondent no. 4 to grant admission to the petitioner on the basis of the merit list.

(iii) That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to compensate for the mental agony as the Hon'ble Court may deem fit. (iv) Any other relief or relief(s) which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit or proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."

Heard Shri Rahim Ubwani, the learned counsel for the Petitioner, Shri B. Gopa Kumar, the learned Assistant Solicitor General for Respondent No. 1 and Shri R.S. Marhas, the learned counsel appearing for the Respondent No. 2. 3.

Going by the prayers sought for, to secure admission for the 1st year MBBS course, it is brought to our notice that the last date for granting admission, as per the clear cut direction given by the Apex Court was on 31.08.2019. In the said circumstances, this Court is not in a position to give any relief to the Petitioner, even if we consider the merits projected in the writ petition. 4.

In the said circumstances, interference is declined. The writ petition stands dismissed.
