1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present Writ Petition is that, he was working as a Forest Guard and the respondents have conducted DPC and issued promotion order to the juniors of the petitioner without assigning any reason as to why the petitioner has not been considered for promotion or why they have not found him fit for promotion.

2. The petitioner has already made a representation in respect of the same to the authorities concerned vide Annexure P-4.

3. Given the said facts that, there has been no reason for not considering the case of the petitioner and at the same time promoting the juniors to the petitioner in the same category, this Court is of the opinion that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the Writ Petition pending. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed off with a direction to the Respondent No. 2 and 3 to immediately consider and decide the representation of the petitioner and the same should be objectively decided and reasons be informed to the petitioner for not being either found him fit or not being considered for promotion.

4. Let this exercise be completed within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this Order.
