The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No.12/2008 registered in Police Station Gol Bazar, Raipur, District Raipur (C.G.) for offence punishable under sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 34 of Indian Penal Code. 2.
Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that the applicant alongwith other co-accused has committed fraud by forged DD and the offence was registered in 2008, thereafter he was absconding and he was arrested in 2016.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is in jail for more than one year and case of the main accused has been decided, therefore trial may take time, therefore the applicant may be released on bail.

Learned State counsel opposes the prayer for grant of bail. 5.
Considering the fact that the applicant was absconding for 8 years, this court is not inclined to release the applicant on bail. 6.
Accordingly, the bail application is dismissed. However, learned trial
