Sam Koshy Order On Board 08.10.2018 The dispute in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction for taking a decision on the dispute raised by the petitioner so far as his seniority which is reflected in the gradation list published is concerned. 2.

According to the counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner ought to have been placed at serial no.617 but erroneously he has been placed at serial no.828 thereby his promotional avenues would be adversely affected. He submits that respondent no.3 has already scrutinized and made a

recommendation to respondent no.2 for necessary correction in the gradation list.

Given the aforesaid factual matrix of the case, let the respondent no.2 take a decision on the representation of the petitioner keeping in view the recommendation made by the concerned District Education Officer in this regard. Needless to mention that the authority would also be at liberty to peruse the service record for grant of necessary seniority. Let this exercise be done within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Let the petitioner bring this order to the notice of respondents 2 & 3 along with fresh representation if he so choses. 4.
