1. The challenge in the present Writ Petition is to the order Annexure P/1 dated 22.08.2019 whereby the services of the petitioner has been transferred from Janpad Panchayat Dabhra, District Janjgir-Champa to Janpad Panchayat Konta, District Sukma.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that he has got a short service left for retirement as there is only around 20 months of service left for his retirement. The further contention of the petitioner is that as per the transfer policy, the persons more than 55 years of age should not be sent to a core scheduled areas and the petitioner is being sent to core scheduled area, which is contrary to the transfer policy of the State Government.

3. Given the said facts, let the petitioner make a detailed representation to the respondents within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order and the respondents in turn shall decide the same

within a further period of 45 days from the date of receipt of the representation.

4. Meanwhile, the effect and operation of the impugned order shall remain stayed so far as the petitioner is concerned.

5. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
