1. The challenge in the present Writ Petition is to the order Annexure P1 dated 23.08.2019, whereby the petitioner has been transferred from the Office of Chief Medical & Health Officer, Korba, District: Korba to the Office of Chief Medical & Health Officer, Raigarh, District: Raigarh, (C.G.)

2. The sole ground of challenge is that, the petitioner is retiring on 30th September, 2019 ie., this very month itself.

3. Given the aforesaid facts, this Court is of the firm view that the impugned order, so far as the petitioner is concerned is totally

-2uncalled for and the impugned order, therefore, needs interference by this Court.

4. Accordingly, the present Writ Petition is allowed and the impugned order, so far as the petitioner is concerned, thus stands setaside/quashed and the petitioner would be permitted to remain at his present place of posting at District: Korba, he would be permitted to retire from Korba itself.

5. The Writ Petition, thus stands allowed.

6. Certified copy today.
