The present contempt petition has been filed alleging willful non-compliance of the order passed by this Court in WPS No. 5471/2018 decided on 24/08/2018.

On purusal of the said order it would reflect that, in paragraph 5 this Court specifically held that this Court is not inclined to entertain the Writ Petition.

However, the matter was only disposed off with an observation that the petitioner is at liberty of approaching the authorities in the department.

The said observation can never be accepted as a mandamus issued by this Court.

Accordingly, this Court does not find it to be a case of a contempt being made out against the respondent. The contempt petition thus being devoid of merits deserve to be and is accordingly dismissed.
