The counsel appearing for the respondent has brought to the notice of this Court the order dated 15.11.2018 passed in the case of the petitioner whereby the respondent has formally taken a decision not to charge default rent for the premises which was occupied by the petitioner without any official allotment. Counsel for the respondent further submits that the respondent has also decided to refund the excess amount charged from the petitioner and for most of the period it has already been done except for a couple of month which is left, which too shall be done at the earliest. The said submission on perusal of the document is not disputed by the counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the same the present contempt petition at this juncture stands disposed off reserving the right of the petitioner to re-agitate any subsequent development which is adverse to the interest of the petitioner by way of a fresh proceeding.
