1. The claim of the petitioner in the present Writ Petition is for considering his case for compassionate appointment.

2. According to the petitioner, father of the petitioner worked as Beat Guard and died in harness on 14.08.2004. The petitioner immediately moved an application for compassionate appointment on 19.04.2005 , the authorities concerned also had processed the claim of the petitioner and made recommendations vide order dated 31.12.2007 and thereafter no final decision has been taken.

3. Given the factual matrix of the case, and the relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court is of the opinion that ends of justice would

meet if the respondent No.1 & 3 take appropriate decision for considering the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment and decide the same within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed of.
