The challenge in the present Writ Petition is to the order Annexure-P/1 dated 25/09/2018 whereby the services of the petitioner has been placed under suspension invoking Rule 9 of the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeals) Rules.

Rule 21 of the said rules specifically provides for an appeal to the Appellate Authority.

Reserving the right of the petitioner to immediately prefer an appeal against the said impugned order to the Appellate Authority

and the Appellate Authority in turn shall decide the appeal considering the conditions and objections which the petitioner raises in his appeal objectively in accordance with law at the earliest preferably within a period of 45 days as prescribed under the Rules.
