At the outset, it is stated before the Court that on 31-12-2018, the Chief Municipal Officer, Nagar Panchayat, Kota passed an order granting pay scale of Rs.4750-7440 with Grade Pay of Rs.1300/-.

Though, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that according to the petitioner's entitlement, he ought to be granted higher pay scale, I am not inclined to proceed further in the matter, because, in view of order dated 07-02-2018 passed by this Court in WPS No.1215 of 2018, respondent authority was only directed to consider the petitioner's claim for fixation of pay and arrears of salary in accordance with instructions/guidelines. 4.

Accordingly, this contempt petition is finally disposed off. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to take appropriate remedy as may be available to him, under the law. Rule is discharged.
