The grievance of the petitioner in the instant Writ Petition is that the petitioner is the step daughter of the deceased employee and that the step mother had died on 28/07/2017 and after obtaining necessary NOC's from the all legal heirs to the deceased employee, the petitioner had moved an application which till date has not been decided and is pending consideration.

Given the said facts, let the respondent No.2 as well as the respondent No.4 take an appropriate decision on the application for compassionate

appointment of the petitioner at the earliest preferably within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 3.

It shall be the responsibility of the petitioner to apprise the respondents No. 2 & 4 of the order passed by this Court.

Need less to mention that, the decision shall be taken by the respondents in accordance with the policy of compassionate appointment applicable.
