Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this submission is not correct. During the course of hearing, learned counsel for the respondent offers to hand over the keys of the premises to the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner accepts the same. The keys are handed over to him.

The petitioner would be free to occupy the premises. For this purpose, he will be entitled to seek assistance of the police authorities of the police station within whose territorial jurisdiction, the house is situated.
