It is submitted that the petitioner has limited prayer that the appeal which is filed by the petitioner and pending before the respondent may be disposed off within a time limit.

The petitioner had preferred an appeal against the order passed by the SDO. The Collector, District Bemetara dismissed the appeal upholding the order of the SDO dated 07-10-2020 with respect to the cancellation of the allotment of fair price shop. The appeal filed against the order of the Collector is pending before the respondent. Hence, it is prayed that appropriate order be passed.

The State counsel opposed the submission made by the counsel for the petitioner and submits that the case may be disposed off. 4.

After considering on the submissions and perusing the documents present in the record of the petition, this petition is disposed off at motion stage. The respondent is hereby directed to expedite the hearing in the appeal filed by the petitioner and take decision on the same at the earliest preferably
