1. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made an application for grant of compassionate appointment on 7.9.2021, but still that has not been considered, which may be directed to be considered and decided expeditiously.

Be that as it may, respondent No.3 is directed to consider and decide the petitioner's application for grant of compassionate appointment in accordance with the rules / policy within 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order by reasoned and speaking order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on

merits of the matter.

3. With the aforesaid observation / direction, the writ petition finally stands disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
