The applicant has preferred this bail application, as he has been arrested in connection with Crime No.150/2017, registered at Police Station Jashpur, District Jashpur for the offence punishable under Sections 387, 507, 354 (C), 467, 417 of IPC and Section 66 (C) and 66 (D) of the Information of Technology Act.

The applicant has allegedly tried to blackmail family members of one Jaya Gupta that if Rs.1 Lakh is not paid to the applicant, he will upload indecent or obscene photographs of Jaya Gupta on the internet.

Considering the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to release the applicant on bail. Accordingly, the bail application is dismissed.
