Petitioner is working as Assistant Professor in Rungata Engineering College, Raipur, wherein he allegedly receives salary of Rs.31,000/- per month. In addition, he allegedly earns Rs.2,00,000/- per month from private tuitions and has 5 acres of agricultural land.

The respondent wife has moved an application under Section 125 of the Cr.P.C. before the Family Court, Bilaspur, seeking

maintenance together with interim maintenance of Rs.1,50,000/- from the petitioner.

While deciding the prayer for interim maintenance, the Family Court has discussed in detail about the standard of living, income and other factors to arrive at a conclusion that the respondent wife is entitled to a sum of Rs.7,000/- per month as interim maintenance from the date of order i.e. 6-10-2016. 4.

In the considered opinion of this Court, the Family Court has not committed any such irregularity or illegality warranting interference of this Court in exercise of its revisional jurisdiction under Section 19 (4) of the Family Courts Act because the Family Court has passed a well reasoned order. 5.

As a sequel, the revision sans merit is liable to be and is hereby dismissed at the motion stage itself.
