3. In view of the above, the writ petitions are disposed of with observation that if the petitioners prefer appeal before the appellate authority under the C.G. Excise Act, 1915, within a period of 15 days from today, the appellate authority shall consider and decide the petitioners' appeal at the earliest preferably within a period of 03 months.
