1. Heard.

2. This petition has been brought being aggrieved by the election of the respondent No.2.

3. It is submitted that the petitioners and number of other villagers have filed a complaint vide annexure P-1 to the respondent No.2 making

-2allegations against the respondent No.4 and 5, but no inquiry has been initiated on this complaint by the respondent No.2 till date. Therefore, it is prayed that appropriate direction be issued.

4. Learned State counsel for respondent No.1, 2 and 3 opposes the submissions.

5. After considering on the submissions, this petition is disposed off at the motion stage. Respondent No.2 is directed to inquire into the complaint made by the petitioners and take decision in accordance with law at the earliest within a period of 120 days.
