The present petition is for the reason that the land of the petitioner was acquired for widening of the road, however, though the land of the petitioner came into sweep but no compensation was paid. 2.

Learned State counsel was directed to seek instructions. 3.

Learned State counsel, on instructions, would submit that the information as has been received, the land of the petitioner was affected for widening of the road; therefore, would submit the necessary proceedings for the acquisition would be drawn.

Considering the nature of the petition no purpose would be served by keeping the matter pending. Consequently, it is directed that the respondents shall carry out the legal proceedings for acquisition of the land to the extent to the land is disturbed and shall pay the necessary compensation amount to the petitioner as per statute governing the field. The said proceedings shall be carried out within a period of three months.

With the above observation, the petition stands disposed of. 6.
