Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order On Board 30.09.2019

1. The limited grievance of the petitioner is that he is entitled for the revised pay-scale from January, 2019 ie., the period on which he completes 8 years of service and entailing him for revised pay-scale but the same has been extended to the petitioner from May, 2019 as such the petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents to consider granting the benefit from the back date from January 2019 onwards.

2. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the matter stands disposed off with a direction to the Respondents No. 5 and 6 to take necessary steps to pass an appropriate order, so far as deciding as to why the petitioner would not be entitled for the benefit of revised pay-scale from the date he/she completes 8 years of service ie., from January, 2019 onwards.

3. Let the Respondents No. 5 and 6 pass an appropriate order at the earliest, preferably within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of copy of this Order.

4. It is the responsibility of the petitioner to apprise the Respondent No. 5 and 6, so far as the order passed by this Court is concerned.

5. With the aforesaid observation, the present Writ Petition stands disposed off.
