Petitioner has moved before the Gram Sabha of Gram Panchayat Ramteerth, Janpad Panchayat Ramanujnagar, District Surajpur, challenging the deletion of his name from the revenue record.

Petitioner has the remedy to move before the jurisdictional Tahsildar/Naib Tahsildar for correction of entries in the revenue record. The writ petition is not the appropriate remedy for such relief, therefore, the same is dismissed as not maintainable with liberty to the petitioner to move before the jurisdictional Tahsildar/ Naib Tahsildar for redressal of his grievance under the relevant provisions of the Chhattisgarh Land Revenue Code, 1959.
