This matter arises from the alleged non compliance of the direction given by this Court in Writ Appeal No. 57/2017, whereby the payment of interest @ 8% per annum was ordered to be paid on the gratuity payable vide Annexure C-I 2.
Heard learned counsel for the Applicant as well as the learned counsel who entered appearance on behalf of the Respondent / Contemnor. 3.
The learned counsel for the Respondent/Contemnor submits that the direction has already been complied with and entire amount due to the Applicant has been released. The learned counsel also expresses sincere regrets in the short delay occurred and prays for indulgence of this Court. 4.
The learned counsel for the Applicant submits that the amount due has already been obtained to the Applicant.

Taking note of the particular facts and circumstances, we are of the view that no further proceedings are required to be pursued. We record the submission and close the contempt matter as above.
