Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order On Board 09.10.2018 The claim restricted by the petitioner in the present writ petition is for
a direction to respondent no.4 to take a decision on the representation made by the petitioner for treating his past service rendered under Central Govt. as qualifying service for the purpose of calculating his pension and retiral dues.

Contention of the counsel for the petitioner is that before joining the services of the State Govt. the petitioner had worked for a period of about 5 years from 13.03.1975 to 09.10.1980 on the post of Accountant in the office of the Accountant General, Gwalior under the Central Govt.. Subsequently, he stood appointed on the post of Manager under the respondent State Govt. and continued to work till his retirement on 03.04.2009. The petitioner wants that his services rendered with the central Govt. be treated as qualifying service which could enable the petitioner to get an enhanced amount of pension and retiral dues. He has made a representation in this regard to the authority but till date no decision has been taken. 3.
Given the said limited prayer, let the respondent no.4 take a decision on the representation which the petitioner has made for treating the past service rendered with the Central Govt. as qualifying service for grant of pension and pensionary benefits to the petitioner. Let this exercise be concluded within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of the order passed by this Court in accordance with the rules. It shall be the responsibility of the petitioner to bring to the notice of respondent no.4 the order passed by this court is concerned.
