Agrawal Order On Board 20/09/2019 (1) Grievance of the petitioner is that though the petitioner had moved an application before respondent No. 1 on 01.07.2019 for grant of inter State regular stage carriage permit on the route Ambikapur to Bokaro via Sitapur, Patthalgaon, Kansabel, Kunkuri, Jashpur, Gumla, Ranchi, Ramgarh and one single trip daily, however, the application has remained pending without any decision.

(2) Learned counsel for the peititoner would submit that the writ petition may be disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.1 to decide the said application expeditiously.

(3) Learned State counsel would submit that the application for the petitioner shall be considered and decided along with all pending applications for the concerned route, in accordance with law and on its own merits as expeditiously as possible.

(4) In view of the fact that petitioner's application is pending consideration, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the petitioner's application and all other applications pending before it for the concerned route, within 30 days from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order. (5) It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the respondent authorities shall consider and decide the matter, on its own merits, strictly in accordance with law, without treating any observations made in this order, as opinion on the merits of the case.
