1. The limited relief that the petitioner has sought for is for an appropriate direction to immediately finalize the settlements of pension and retiral dues.

2. According to the petitioner till date he is only getting 80% of his pension and no retiral dues has been released though he has retired from service on 31.07.2018. The salary for the last two months before retirement also has been withheld and there being no release of any of these amounts.

3. Given the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let respondent concerned may take appropriate steps for ensuring that the retiral dues payable to the petitioner as per the rules are released to him at the earliest preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner would be entitled for retiral dues and the salary for the period which was not being paid to him before his retirement after due verification so far as his entitlement is concerned.

4. With the aforesaid observations and directions, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
