1. On the oral request made by the counsel for the petitioner for making necessary correction in the cause title, the prayer is allowed. Let necessary correction be carried out during the course of the day itself.
2. The limited prayer which the petitioner has prayed from the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondents authorities to ensure that the petitioner is paid the death-cum-retiral dues payable on the death of the her husband, who died in harness on 02.07.2016.
3. According to the petitioner, though more than two years have passed, till date the petitioner has not been paid any death-cum-retiral duties, which she was entitled for on the death of her husband.
4. Given the nature of dispute, let the respondent no.2 take a decision so far as the claim of the petitioner is concerned for the release of the retiral dues and in case if the petitioner is entitled for any dues, she
should be released of the same within a period of 60 days from today. The said dues also would carry interest @10% p.a. unless the delay was on account of any default on the part of the petitioner.
5. Let the petitioner bring to the notice of the respondent no.2 so far as the order passed by this Court is concerned.
6. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
