This MCC has been filed seeking correction in the date of appointment mentioned in paragraph 3 of the order dated 19.09.2018 passed in WPS No.6126 of 2018 inasmuch as the date of appointment has been wrongly mentioned by the petitioner as 22.01.1990 whereas it should had been 01.07.1987.

Though, this court is of the opinion that such correction or modification may not be required for the reason that the intent of the order passed by this court was to consider the claim of the petitioner for grant of appointment from the date of his initial appointment and whatever would be the date of appointment as per service records would be more relevant rather the dates which is being mentioned in the order passed by this court. However, it is taken note of the fact that the actual date of appointment of the petitioner is 01.07.1987 instead of 22.01.1990 as mentioned in the order dated 19.09.2018 in WPS No.6126 of 2018.

With the aforesaid observations, the present MCC stands allowed and disposed of. Let a copy of this order be placed on record of WPS No.6126 of 2018.
