Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that application for compassionate appointment has been filed by the petitioner on 25.01.2021, which has not been considered and decided by respondent No. 2 till this date.

Learned State counsel would submit that the brother of the petitioner has also been filed an application for compassionate appointment.

Be that as it may, respondent No. 2 is directed to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application for compassionate appointment within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order by reasoned and speaking order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition finally stands disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
