Upon removal of petitioner from the office of Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat, Navagaon, Tehsil Sahaspur Lohara, District Kabirdham on 23.10.2017, she preferred an appeal before the Collector, Kabirdham, which was partly allowed on 15.02.2018 remitting the matter to the Competent Authority for passing fresh order and thereafter the matter is pending consideration before the SDO (Revenue), Kawardha since March, 2018, but final order has not been passed.

Considering the fact that the matter is pending consideration before the SDO (Revenue), Kawardha, instead of keeping this petition pending, ends of justice would be served if the SDO (Revenue) is directed to decide the pending proceedings against the petitioner under Section 40 of the Chhattisgarh Panchayat Raj Adhiniyam, 1993 at the earliest, preferably within a period of 4 months from the date of submission of certified copy of this order.

It is ordered accordingly.
