The relief sought for by the petitioner in present case is for a direction to the respondents to complete the recruitment process to the post of Assistant Director (Commerce & Industries).

The case of the petitioners was placed on the waiting-list but could not be considered for want of necessary recommendation by Public Service Commission (PSC). The PSC/respondent No. 2 have now come up with a stand through their reply that they have already extended the validity period for the waiting-list till 11.02.2019 and the recommendation also have been
made in this regard wherein the name of the petitioners also finds place i.e. the list of eligible candidates from the waiting list to the Department of Commerce and Industries on 18.07.2018 (Annexure-2/1). 3.
Giving the aforesaid submission taken by the PSC, let respondent/State take an appropriate decision at the earliest within validity period of the wait list. It is the responsibility of the petitioner No. 1 to apprise the order passed by this Court to respondent No. 1. 4.
