1. The petitioner, who is defendant before the Family Court, Raipur, seeks to challenge the order granting interim maintenance to the tune of ₹ 2000/- per month to be shockingly low, which was passed on 24.2.2018 and suit for dissolution of marriage is pending consideration since 28.6.2017 before the Family Court, Raipur.

2. After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner, I deem it appropriate to direct the Family Court, Raipur to conclude the trial within four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order as the suit is pending since 28.6.2017. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file an application for enhancement of amount under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act before the Family Court, Raipur.

3. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition finally stands disposed of. No cost(s).
